We finished the year with a lovely day at LKA with Lancelot and Layla placed in a stong limit classes.

Great news from the Solid Cocker Champ show, Layla (Molkara Vuvuzela) was awarded her Stud Book Number!

At Gundog Society of Wales Champ show Lancelot won the limit class in good company, we are thrilled with this result. Thanks to judge Mr R Webb

Thrilled to bits that the old boy Dyllan was awarded best gundog veteran. Layla won the YKC stakes too

A quiet month for us as Layla came into season.

July

A hot day at Evesham but everyone enjoyed themselves. Dyllan was shortlisted to the last 8 of a 25 strong veteran stakes. Layla was second in a good  open Cocker bitch and Lancelot second in the YKC stakes. Dyllan showed in the veteran class at the cocker club but it was far too hot later in the day to show Lancelot.

At least of England Champ show we were delighted the Layla was awarded second in Post Graduate Cocker huge thanks to judge.

June

Dyllan had his first veteran class, Windsor, and came 2nd. He enjoyed his day out very much.

Layla was RBOB at CLacton and district open show she also won Open gundog

At the East Anglian Champ show Lancelot won a lovely open solid class, thanks to judge Hellen MacDonald.

A great day out at Norfolk and Norwich, Lancelot BOB and gp4 Layla RBOB. Dyllan went for another spin out and was 3rd in his class. All three placed in money stakes 🙂

March

At the end of March Layla and Dyllan, returning to the ring after a long break showed under judge Maureen Taylor at Gt Yarmouth. Dyllan went in PG Cocker and came a credable 3rd amongst the youngsters and Layla was first in open and BOB. She then went on to be group3 in a large group of quality gundogs thanks to judge Philipp Dye.

We really enjoyed Crufts with Layla been placed VHC in Graduate and Lancelot VHC in Mid-Limit. Emily and Lancelot competed in thegundog  final of the YKC stakes. We returned the following day to spend the morning on Discover Dogs.

Layla won BOB a EELKs under replacement judge Mr Ken Bartlett. It was a cold day but at least I had good company.

Lancelot went Best Dog and then was declared BOB at Boston Champ Show under judge B Hill. It was a lovely day, good company, a nice large ring and a friendly atmosphere. No Layla today but Emily handled a lovely black and tan bitch 🙂 

To top the weekend off Lancelot also went BOB at Nuneaon under breed specialist Cheryl Blackley (Wightroache)
